Two of Houston’s Hottest Master-Planned Communities

There are so many reasons to love Houston. From its warm, year-round temperatures to its excellent job force and strong Houston real estate market, Houston remains a very popular relocation spot for people all over the world; and the number of master-planned communities reflects that fact.

Houston is a hub for new development, and master-planned communities are no exception. From quaint, family communities to luxurious estate neighborhoods, Houston boasts a great array of Houston real estate and master-planned communities, many of which are surrounded by superb services, amenities and recreational activities.

The following master-planned communities of Houston are just a small sampling of what Houston has to offer in terms of Houston real estate:

o Cinco Ranch – This sprawling, master-planned Houston community sits on over 7,400 acres of Katy land. All neighborhoods of Cinco Ranch are connected through a system of greenbelt trails, thereby giving this master-planned community is sense of cohesiveness.

Other features of Cinco Ranch include an on-site public library; an on-site University of Houston System at Cinco Ranch; a close proximity to many of the medical facilities, shops and restaurants of Houston; and easy access to the Katy Freeway and the new Westpark Tollway.

o Graystone Hills – A convenient Conroe location is just the beginning of what Graystone Hills has to offer. This master-planned community, which features 331 acres, is located near Interstate 45 and Loop 336. All homes in this community are nestled among rolling hills and surrounded by wooded serenity.

Just some of the amenities found at Graystone Hills include a nature preserve; many greenbelt trails for hiking, walking or bicycling; and a recreation center, complete with a resort-style swimming pool. Children of Graystone Hills attend the highly acclaimed Conroe Independent School District. There are plenty of nearby grocery stores, restaurants and recreational activities for the residents of Graystone Hills. In addition, this community is also just minutes from the Sam Houston National Forest and picturesque Lake Conroe.

Once completed, about 780 homes will be a part of Graystone Hills and the Houston real estate market. Build-out for this community is expected in 2011. The Graystone Hills community is being developed by the Friendswood Development Company, a well-known builder in Houston for over 47 years.
